On 22 February 2026, the “2026 Chinese New Year · Australia–China Charity ‘Xiang Yue Jin Xiao’ and Children’s Spring Festival Gala” was grandly held at Sydney Town Hall. Guests from all sectors of society and members of the wider community gathered together to welcome the Lunar New Year and enjoy a vibrant cultural celebration, immersed in a festive atmosphere filled with joy, warmth and holiday spirit.

The event was held from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Sydney Town Hall, 483 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Centred on Chinese New Year culture, grounded in the spirit of charity and public welfare, and highlighted by youth talent performances, the evening fully reflected the positive and dynamic spirit of the Chinese community while also demonstrating the enduring vitality and intergenerational legacy of Chinese culture.
