Queensland Tourism Body Sends Letter of Support to ACCEP for Advancing China–Queensland Tourism and Business Exchange

Recently, the Australia–China Culture & Economic Promotion Association (ACCEP) received a formal letter of support from Queensland Country Tourism, expressing strong recognition of and firm support for the Association’s initiative to organise delegations from China to visit Queensland for tourism and business purposes. In the letter, Queensland Country Tourism emphasised that such visits are of great significance in deepening cultural ties, economic exchange and bilateral cooperation between China and Queensland.

The letter noted that Queensland offers a rich diversity of tourism resources, a high-quality investment environment, advanced educational and research institutions, and a dynamic business ecosystem. Through systematic and well-structured delegation visits, Queensland’s strengths in tourism, education, industry and regional development can be comprehensively showcased, while also creating broader opportunities for resource matching, project cooperation, knowledge exchange and the development of long-term partnerships.

Queensland Country Tourism also expressed its appreciation for the efforts and leadership of Mr Zhiwu Zheng, President of ACCEP, in advancing these initiatives, and stated its willingness to maintain close cooperation in future delegation programmes, tourism promotion initiatives and regional exchange projects. As an important regional destination marketing organisation, Queensland Country Tourism has long been committed to integrating regional resources, promoting tourism development and supporting industry collaboration, thereby providing valuable institutional support for international exchange and cooperation.

Since its establishment, ACCEP has remained committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Australia and China across a wide range of fields, including culture, trade, education and tourism. This formal expression of support from a Queensland tourism body not only reflects the positive role ACCEP has played in advancing practical bilateral engagement and people-to-people exchange, but also lays a stronger foundation for future high-quality delegation visits, deeper China–Queensland interaction, and expanded cooperation in tourism, culture and business.

Looking ahead, ACCEP will continue to serve as a bridge and platform for exchange, actively promoting broader, deeper and more sustainable cooperation between China and Queensland in tourism promotion, business visits, investment facilitation and cultural exchange, and contributing further to regional connectivity, mutual understanding and the continued development of Australia–China friendship.
